A mi megközelítésünk a tanításhoz

Hatékony és aktivizáló oktatási tanulási környezetet szeretnénk létrehozni számos interaktív tanítási módszerrel. A tananyag feldolgozását az interaktívan és kisebb csoportokban szerveződő munkafoglalkozások segítik. Nem vagy egyedül az utazás során. A hallgatók és oktatók közötti interakciók a Hasselt Universityoktatási koncepciójának sarokkövét jelentik. Az oktatók és asszisztensek mindig készen állnak a segítségére mind érdemi, tantárgyi kérdésekben, mind egyéb, tanulmányi sikerét elősegítő kérdésekben. A hallgatók és az oktatók közötti küszöböt alacsonyan tartják, a kurzusokon belül és kívül is.

A Flandriára vonatkozó egyetemi rendelet az ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) elvein alapuló kreditpontrendszer köré épül.

A nappali tagozatos képzés minden éve 60 ECTS-t jelent. Ideális esetben ezek a kreditek egyenlően oszlanak meg két félévben: szemeszterenként 30 ECTS. Egy kredit 25-30 órás tanulmányi terhelést jelent. Ez magában foglalja az órán eltöltött időt, a személyes munkát és a vizsgákat.
